Isaac had his first school disco.

The sixth birthday parties never seem to end! This one happened to coincide with Halloween and Zac was really excited about dressing up as a vampire.

Edward, eat your heart out!

I must've done ok because he won the best boys costume.

Of course Amira wanted in on the face painting as soon as I started on Zac. I was running short of time so she's not quite as impressive a cat.

But she still looks cute sitting in the garden :)

Isaac's sports day was postponed last term due to rain. Somehow Adelaide managed to go from non stop rain to a 40 degree heat wave in a matter of days. We finally got some agreeable weather and it was on...
Zac was on the red team.

Not a recognised olympic sport yet but still a favourite - tunnel ball.

I'm not sure Russel Coight did much to promote this sport...

Amira trying to steal some attention away from Zac :)

Isaac was very competitive and has a few things to learn about team sports yet. But he had fun and his team came second in the end.

Kirst showing off her camera skills...

It's cricket season!
Sometimes the girls seem to have more fun running around the cricket club. And we enjoy the odd beer :)
It's beach season too! The only upside to 40+ degrees is taking the kids to the beach for dinner and sunset. We ventured all the way to Glenelg so the kids could play in the fountain while we had dinner and a beer in Mosley Square.
The kids' friends have a wading pool for when we don't want to get sandy.
Kirst enjoying herself... without a champagne!

It certainly has been hot over your way. Tahlia has the same towel as Amira... she got it for her birthday, she is a tinkerbell nut.
