More shots from Canberra. Beating the heat at Jac's place;

My beautiful windswept daughter...

And my long haired surfie boy! (He has since had a haircut, but not quite as short as Dad's buzz cut.)

The kids playing together. Zac is really good at making Amira laugh!

Gunny took the kids to the zoo for the morning. I even let him use my camera!

This one's cool!

Both kids sitting still for a second.

I put up Amira's hair in little polar bear ears! (Well that's what I told her.)

We watched Andrew play cricket, and it was an entertaining and emphatic win! Check out his 'race face'... pretty scary to be batting right now!

Andrew after one of several wickets. Legend!

Dad and us girls... What a lucky guy to have three daughters!!!

Nones, Jac and my two terrors (very tired!).

Finally Ellen orchestrated this shot whilst I directed Gunny on the hardware. Good job all round!

There's even more to come!!! Altho there may be a slight delay now that Gunny is back from Darwin and I have someone to talk to at night. :)

Some more random photos from January. This was right before we left for Canberra...

Tayla and Zac...

My birthday dinner at Dad's.

Ellen thinks it's funny that I'm nearly 30...

I love this photo! I walked in and found them just like this.

This photo is really adorable until you know that she was laughing coz she 'popped off'!!!

My little girl doing her 'ballet'.

We'd like to sincerely thank Nana for trading in her sporty convertible for a 4-door family car.

... yeah right!

Out and about in Civic...

A bit of street art.

And a few more preggy shots of Jac... hope you don't mind! :) You look beautiful!

Hard to believe Annabelle was all squished in there!

Oh and we love your new house too - it's fabulous!!

The exciting news you have all been waiting for - little Annabelle Olivia arrived very early on the 19th of January!

Here she is just an hour old -

Jacqui is an amazing mum, and I have never seen a dad quite as smitten as Andrew. Although we can see why; she is utterly adorable.

I can't believe how tiny she is (and that she is bigger than my two were!!).

Zac and Amira could hardly believe she had finally arrived! Zac loves her and tells everyone within earshot all about her. Amira was a little miffed at the redirection of attention, and then was scared of her when she cried!

This is my favourite photo. What a lucky baby to be loved so much!

And that includes the whole family! Great Grandma and Great Grandpa become Great Grandparents again!!

And I'm an Auntie! YAY!

A couple of photos of Annabelle taken at home.

More photos of our Canberra trip to come later.

Congratulations to Jac and Andrew, and a big welcome to Annabelle!

Blog ala Gunny...

I finally downloaded the photos from my phone so here are some snapshots of what I've been up to for the last couple of months.

We were minding our own business doing some exercise flying out of Perth when we were rudely diverted to a tropical island for a week...

This is Trannies Beach at Cocos Island... If you've got really keen eyes you can see the esky floating in amongst the crew.

This is the view from the Cocos Club Restaurant where we ate most nights.

You may have heard the story of us going looking for a Christmas tree in the hills and ending up at the Rocking Horse. The kids had a great time at the toy factory and the wild life park.

After our trip to the island the kids were bugging us to go back to the beach... It wasn't the same having to share the beach with others but at least Tayla got to come. We also caught up with our friend Cat.

The water was amazingly warm! Zac was having a great time in his new Ben 10 swimmers punching the waves.

After a swing at the playground waiting for fish and chips it got a little chilly. It doesn't feel like that long ago Zac was wearing those shorts!

I took the kids out for a day so that Kirst could get some sewing done. We ended up at the Mt Barker play cafe. The kids were up and down the slides all morning and, due to the Aussies performance in the cricket, we stayed for lunch and slid into the afternoon.

After the lunchtime sugar hit wore off and we'd had enough 'last race for champion of the world' we headed home to a much more relaxed Mummy.

Stay tuned for our next few blogs from Canberra! Kirst's birthday, Jac and Andrew's baby and many more exciting adventures!
