Yes.... more painting!!!

This is why we had to paint. We couldn't put our baby in a room like this! We pulled out the wardrobe and started work...

So with a little help from Mummy, Daddy and big brother....

It's looking much better! Of course now the carpet needs replacing too.

Here is Zac showing us the bit he painted -

What a great job!

I just hope the sonographer was 100% correct....!!!! :)

Our wild weekend camping at Phillip Island for the MotoGP!

Zac travelled first class all the way with all the poppas, fruit bars and in-car entertainment he could handle.

The luxury didn't stop there. We had a 5-man tent (thanks Dad!), two zero-degree sleeping bags that zipped together, and a Queen size blow up mattress. Oh, and Zac got carried around in this:

We called it Zac's Limo (the backpack thingy that is, not Gunny!). Thanks to Lisa and Dan for lending it to us!

And of course, the star of the GP, Zac's godmother's sister's fiance! (Although he's probably better known as Casey Stoner...) Here he is, doing what he does best.

The bikes were a bit hard to see from the dizzying heights of the Siberia Grandstand, which is where a Grandfather with binoculars suddenly becomes a good friend to have! Thanks Mud!

After a late Saturday night at the pub, Zac wasn't the only one sleeping throught the 125's, but he was the cutest!

The weekend was over all too soon. The eyeballs barely visible in the helmets are Jac, Mud & Nones, the bikie bandits! With Zac wishing them many thumbs-up for the trip home.

Finally on Monday it was time for us to jump in the car for another 900kms or so. Actually it was more than that but we cheated by driving the car onto a boat and sailing from Portsea to Queenscliffe to avoid Melbourne. Zac could hardly believe his eyes! He spent every second running around, exploring, drinking chocolate milk and watching the dolphins go past. He was not so keen to get back into the car, I think we bribed him with another DVD eventually.

Then at Nhill we found the longest road-side slippery dip known to mankind. Well we thought it was pretty big considering it was free!

The first photo shows you how much Zac loved being out of the car... and the second one gives you a better perspective of how long it really was! Yay Nhill!!!

We finally got home to a very excited dog about 9pm. It was a great weekend and I miss everyone already! See you all there next year.

The Show Experience!

Zac and a "Bun Half". You work it out!

The first of many rides... but Zac's all time favourite. The truck ride! Zac was in the lead truck and looked very worried when we told him to keep steering. Last thing to note in the photo - there's a reason the bars near his head are padded!

"Ohhh... Big Red Tractor!" And the world's smallest 2 year old.

Zac told Nana on the phone on the way home that he "had a ride on the back of a motorbike". I had to explain that the bike was welded to a platform that went round and round, and that no, we hadn't loaded Zac on the back of the Triumph!

There was also a plane ride, hotdogs and of course the ferris wheel. But hey, everyone knows what a ferris wheel looks like, right?!

Until next year...

Girl's Night Out!

A big thank you to Ling for coordinating the whole thing... judging by the number of emails flying back and forth over the last six weeks it must have been like herding cats with a garden hose, and that was BEFORE Matt put Molnar's welcome BBQ on the same night! Luckily thanks to the Family Car we all got to do both. :)

Can't wait for Oct long weekend away!
